St Illtyd's Walk to Margam Abbey

Saturday 3rd October - 11 miles / 6 hours 

This magnificent walk traverses follows the final section of St Illtyd's walk, a 77-mile route created to honour one of Wales' best-loved saints. 

We begin at Cynonville in Cwm Afan and follow hillsides and forest tracks to the impressive remains of Margam Abbey near Bridgend.  It's relatively remote walking, with no facilities en route - a chance to get away from it all and enjoy the delights of nature.

Return to Cynonville will be by taxi.  Please bring a packed lunch.
