Virtual Pilgrimage
Here you can take a pilgrimage journey from the comfort of your own living room!
We offer you a video-based journey along the Camino de Santiago, where you can follow the journey of pilgrims walking to Santiago de Compostela and consider and reflect upon themes inspired by pilgrimage walking.
These virtual pilgrimages work well as an individual or group exercise for a season such as Lent, and they give those who would not be able to undertake this kind of pilgrimage the opportunity to get a taste of what it's like. It also offers a resource for those planning to walk a pilgrimage to prepare for the journey.
We offer two options:

A long version, which follows the journey from the French border at St Jean Pied de Port on the Camino Frances over forty sessions.

A short version, which follows the last 100km of the journey to Santiago from the town of Sarria in Galicia, a popular starting point for those with less time available for the journey. This is covered in ten sessions, which overlap with the content of the last ten sessions of the longer version.
