Tintern Abbey and the Wye Valley
Friday 17th July - 5 miles / 3 hours

Tintern Abbey is one of the most impressive monastic ruins in Wales, and its beauty is enhanced by its dramatic setting in the wooded Wye Valley. This short circular walk starts and finishes at the Abbey, and visits an ivy-clad ruined church, the site of Tintern's railway station and a simple Moravian chapel at Brockweir, as well as some remains of Offa's Dyke.
