Pilgrimage in Song

In June 2025 singer-songwriter Gareth Davies-Jones walked 100 miles on St Oswald's Way and the Way of Light from Holy Island to Durham Cathedral.  He carried a guitar on his back and along the way performed concerts in homes, churches and community spaces.  Out of this pilgrimage Gareth is writing and recording an album of songs under the title 'Troubadour Journey', reflecting upon his pilgrimage experience. 

This spring we will host a conversation, where Gareth will share his experiences and speak about what he learned about pilgrimage from his journey.  He will also tell us about the developing project of this new album and of how the pilgrimage journey has influenced him.
